We are pleased to announce that Candie A. Price, MACE, MPR has joined our team at New Schools for Alabama as the Manager of Operations and Communication. With 15+ years of communications and public relations expertise in the private sector, and as a former middle school and high school educator with Birmingham City Schools, Price is passionate about our mission to support the growth of excellent charter schools in Alabama.
“I am so excited to be a part of New Schools, an organization that seeks to make a difference in the lives of children who are especially marginalized and disenfranchised. All children deserve access to quality public school education and I can’t wait to see all of the great things we accomplish together for students,” says Price.
In addition to various administrative operational duties, Price will be responsible for managing a variety of integrated marketing communications, not limited to but including social media strategy and implementation, media relations, blog, web, and content marketing and more.
